The Red Wings celebrated raising their new banner by going out on opening night and losing on home ice to the Maple Leafs 3-2. Hopefully this a sign of things to come. Here's the recap.
The Pens picked up Mike Zigomanis from Phoenix for future considerations. I'm sure he'll make a worthy addition to the baby Pens in Wilkes-Barre.
