My hate for the Flyers knows no bounds. Nothing pleased me more than to see them struggle to a last place finish two years ago. Watching their fans squirm while seeing how the other half live was particularly enjoying. Then, as crappy teams usually do, they went out last year and made an attempt (and a successful one, unfortunately) to buy their way back into the NHL elite. So their obnoxious fan base reared it's ugly head once more as they made their ridiculous run to the Conference Finals. Of course we all know how that ended. That brings us to the 2008-2009 campaign. Already some people who consider to have a vast knowledge of the world of hockey have predicted that the Flyers will take the Atlantic crown. There's just one problem....they can't even beat their minor league affiliate. They lost their preseason finale to the Philadelphia Phantoms 4-2. Yeah, your Atlantic division champions. I don't care if it's preseason or not, that's pathetic.
