Tonight from the Nassau Coliseum the Pittsburgh Penguins will try to avoid giving up a 12 goal lead in the 3rd period and acutally put together 60 minutes of solid hockey.
Tne New york Islanders are in the basement of the NHL, their last game being a 4-3 loss to another basement feeder in the league in Atlanta. The Islanders were leading 3-1 heading into the 3rd period. This should be a high scoring game tonight with both teams trying to give up 3rd period leads, the story line should read "who can suck the worst in the 3rd Period"

The Pittsburgh Penguins are Coming off what could have been a bigger Melt Down than Big Bens Championship game performances, Heading into the 3rd period with a 4 goal lead, only to see themselves barely making it through the period with a 1 goal lead.
Sidney Crosby is questionable for tonights game with what is rumored to be a hip problem, but you won't hear that from anyone in the penguins management.
Things are looking up for Ryan Whitney, He has resumed skating after having surgery on his foot in the offseason.
Ruslan Fedotenko and Miro Satan should be flying tonight, they are facing their former team tonight for the 1st time.
