The Home Opener

VS

Its a Hockey Night in Pittsburgh.........Finally

Tonight from the Mellon Arena The Pittsburgh Penguins will host the New Jersey Devils in what feels like the the season opener. The Penguins are coming off a week of rest after opening the season in Sweden against the Ottawa Senators, where they came out with a 1 an 1 split. The big story though was that thing they did that almost looked like a power play, No worries though Tonight will be the start of the top power play in the league.

No word yet on Petr Sykora, HCMT said earlier in the week, "Sykora might not play this week against the Devil" that's the only news i've heard so far, but that's not saying the news isn't out there, I'm just to lazy to go find it.

The Penguins signed this [new guy], from Phoenix, i guess he can win faceoffs or something.

The New Jersey Devils are coming off a 2-1 win over the Islanders last night [recap] in their season opener. Zac Parise and Patrick Elias had the goals for the devils, Doug Weight had the islanders lone tally.
The Devils decided to go with the retro look this season, brining back Brian Rolston, and Frankenstein. Acquiring Bryan Rolston made the Devils better, but then acquiring frankenstein made the team worse, so i guess it all evens out in the end.

the Devils line combos last night were:
Elias/Rolston/Gionta
Parise/Zajac/Langenbrunner (c)
Pandolfo/Madden/Clarkson

Tonight @ 7:38 (FSN) the Pittsburgh Penguins will spank the New Jersey Devils with a score of 3 to 2, with goals from Crosby, Letang, and Satan. (like i wouldn't pick Satan to score against the Devils.

"IT'S A GREAT DAY FOR HOCKEY"
